Dear Tracey,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. So that I may best assist you, can you please upload a few better images of the hallmarks. Ususally hallmarks are on the bottom of porcelain pieces.
With kind regards,
Georg
Hi Georg I have not received a reply from you for two days. Have you finished the appraisal yet As I received an email to say my appraisal was ready two days ago? Yet is advertised as pending??
Dear Tracey,
Thank you for the additional information and your patience. Sadly regarding technical problems, the new images and messages were not displayed. I apologize for the delay. The presented objects are porcelain figurines with unknown measurements. The figurines depict ladies in dresses with poodles. These figurines are made out of porcelain or a similar ceramic mass and are not hallmarked. They were probably made in the middle of the 20th century. Such pieces have much more emotional value than market value.
An estimation would be between 10 to 20 AUD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
My mother has the item and I asked her this morning if it was stamped in any way she said no hallmark. Thank you
