Hi Jennifer,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
These figures are early 20th Century replicas of late 18th and 19th Century porcelain figures, made in France and Germany. These were popular in the mid 20th Century for household furnishings but they have somewhat fallen out of favor, being considered quite old-fashioned, and they don't sell at auction for the fair-market (akin to wholesale) prices they once did: lamps of comparable size, age and composition have been selling recently for between $80 and $120 at auction.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A Continental glazed porcelain figural lamp
Early 20th Century
Depicting two figures - a man and a lady - in 18th Century dress, on a circular base, fitted as a lamp.
13 inches overall height
CONDITION: This appears to be in good condition.
PROVENANCE: Inherited
$80-120*
