What does this mean?

Dear Terry,

Thank you for choosing Mearto for your online appraisal.

Based on images and available information, this item is:

This is a Chinese porcelain plate. It was likely to have been produced most likely after the late Qing dynasty, mid-late 20th century. Colorful and playful mythological decoration.

The artist’s technique does not appear to be particularly refined, but free and playful. The absence of any marking on the obverse side indicates as well that it was produced for a lower end market.

Based on previous sales of similar pieces, this item has a Fair Market Value of $50 to $150.
