What does this mean?

Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a painting by Jacob AKKERSDYK (1815-1862), depicting a young lady in a red dress teaching or reading to a boy standing next to her. The red jacket and the chair to the right appear in another painting by the artist "interior with man and woman (1859)". The quality of the painting is on the same level as other signed paintings by Akkersdyk. The estimate is based on recent auction results of sold and unsold paintings. "Asking prices" in the trade can be higher and vary.
