This work on paper depicts a Parisian scene of booksellers [bouquinistes] along the river Seine. It measures approx 4-1/2 "X 6-1/2", and it is framed (8-1/2" X 101/2"). It is signed on the lower right "S. J. Marty". The condition is excellent.

Unfortunately, after searching this artist, I am sorry to say that I could not find any similar artist's signature in our records. It seems that an obscure artist has executed the work that you own.

Therefore, this is reflected in the estimate in red that appears above. The subject work's size and composition were also considered when determining these figures.
