Hi Amanda,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The 2010 U.S. Women's Open at Oakmont Country Club was indeed significant for several reasons, both in terms of golf history and the personal triumph of its winner, Paula Creamer. Creamer, nicknamed the “Pink Panther,” won her first and only major championship at Oakmont, finishing at 3-under-par. Located in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, Oakmont is considered one of the most prestigious and challenging courses in the United States.
Known for its lightning-fast greens, deep bunkers, and punishing rough, Oakmont has hosted numerous men’s and women’s majors. 2010 marked only the second time the U.S. Women’s Open was held at Oakmont (the first being in 1992). The 2010 U.S. Women's Open is remembered for its gritty competition, the resilience of Paula Creamer, and for reinforcing Oakmont’s reputation as a crucible of championship golf. It also contributed to the broader recognition of women’s golf, especially during a period when the LPGA was working to maintain visibility and sponsorships.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
An autographed 2010 USGA US Women's Open 18th Hole flag

Signed by many (all?) players from the 2010 Women's Open as well as Arnold Palmer, and framed with photos and other souvenirs from the tournament.

Amanda,
Yes, it would be very helpful if you could delete from this appraisal any photos that are not part of the larger piece, and/or add any relevant ones.
Thanks,
Delia
I removed the picture and Added am still waiting on a response to this required from over a week ago. Are there any updates or insights to share for this item?
Do I need to resubmit this since
The smaller flag is showing I thought I removed it.
You're all set, Amanda, apologies for the delay. I'll ask our customer service dept to remove the image of the small flag so there's no confusion.
The photos have been updated with the one that shouldnt be there has been dropped. You are all set
Question for you do you know where I can list to sell? Do you accept such items to auction? Thanks Amanda
You have options, Amanda,
If you've marked this as "for sale" with a status of "public" instead of "private," it's already listed on the Mearto marketplace and you may receive offers from interested buyers (you're not obligated to accept any of them).
Mearto has recently partnered with Catawicki, an online platform that conducts auctions around the world; because of our partnership, linked appraisals by a Mearto appraisal will skip the usual vetting process. For more information on that, see the Catawiki link on our page ( https://www.mearto.com/catawiki). If that's something you'd like to consider, let me know and I'll send you a specific link to use for this appraisal.
Alternatively, now that you know what this is worth, you can try to sell it through a local auction house (there will be consignment fees, including a commission, insurance and photography fees); if you want to go that direction I can also suggest some auction houses that specialize in sports memorabilia, since this would fall into that category.
Let me know if you need more suggestions, etc.
Delia
