Thank you for your appraisal inquiry with MeArto. The print appears to be a hand-colored stone lithograph of "Indiga Bunting" drawn by John James Audubon (France/New York; 1785 – 1851). The print appears to be from the one of the Octavo editions of "The Birds of America." The Octavo editions included about eight editions were published published between 1840-1870, printed and colored by J.T. Bowen. The 1st editions are more sought-after and collectible.
The estimate provided is based on recent auction estimates and results of the 1st edition impression of the Audubon lithographs. Further details and inspections may uncover additional information that may effect the estimate provided.
