Hi Dana,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Charles Amand-Durand (often just “Amand-Durand”), a 19th-century French printmaker and engraver; he is best known as being a copyist of Rembrandt van Rijn's (1606-1669) works and brings less than Rembrandt's works at auction; this would probably sell at auction between $1,000 and $2,000 while an original Rembrandt engraving would be at least $2,500-3,500 or more.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
Charles Amand-Durand (1831-1905), after Rembrandt van Rijn
