Dear Elicia,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay with the apprisal
The presented object appears to be a pastel drawing on cardboard with the measurements of 16 x 20 inches. The drawing depicts a winter scene on a forest glade and as the main motif, we see a deer rising his head. This drawing was made and signed by Rev "Ding" Teuling and is dated 1974. Sadly no further information regarding the biography of this artist is mentioned in reference books or similar databases.
Works by this artist were recently not offered and sold on the international auction market. One one side this artist is not an established and searched person on the market but on the other side motifs which are connected to hunting could reach higher prices than other motifs.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 100 to 300 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
Georg
