Antique revolver, from 1905 (at the latest, it's possibly several years older, unique caliber (no longer made), kept in good condition, wood handle, only markings / lettering is on top of the barrel: "EUREKA"
Owned by family, given as a gift in 1904/1905, supposedly it was fired once, other than that it has been in storage
Dear David,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry. My sincere apologies for the delay with the appraisal.
The presented object appears to be a Eureka six-shot revolver. Eureka is an quite unknown and small producer and is known for his flare pistols. This piece was probably made in the late 19th century.
Comparable objects were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 150 to 400 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
With kind regards,
George
