Hand painted chinese bowl
markings on bottom too faded
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a chinese porcelain punchbowl or fruit bowl, decorated in Canton famille rose enamels with the rose medallion pattern, showing alternating panels of figures, birds, butterflies and flowers surrounding a central medallion consisting of similar scenes. Production date should be third quarter of the 19th century, Tongzhi reign period. Size not mentioned, I assume approximately 10 inches in diameter. With the original wooden stand. The estimate is based on recent auction results for similar items. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to it.
