This is a framed matted print 23" wide x 30" tall x 2" deep. The sticker on the back says JEAN-FRANCOIS "NEVER SINGS ALLELULIA". Original AQUAINT from miserere by Georges Rouault (French 1841). On the bottom right it is signed 1923 G ROUAULT.

The item presented appears to be an aquatint over photogravure by Georges Rouault (French; 1871-1958) titled "Jean-François jamais ne chante alleluia... (Jean-François Never Sings Alleluia)." The print is plate 25 from the "Miserere" series. The series was published by Édition de L'Étoile Filante in 1948. Although, the plates were engraved by Rouault and printed by Jacquemin, Paris during the late 1920s.
Georges Rouault was a renowned Modern artist mostly associated with Fauvism and Expressionism. His is known for his work that is often embedded with social criticism and can be informed by the Christian faith. His work can be found in countless art institutions including the Museum of Modern Art, the Tate Modern Museum, and the Centre Georges Pompidou, among many others.
