The appraised work appears to be an offset lithograph titled “Shipboard Girl,” executed in 1995 by Roy Lichtenstein (1923-1997) from an original painting created in 1965. The print is signed in plate and was created as an exhibition poster for a show titled “Reflections on Roy,” which was a survey of print work from the Leo Castelli collection and Castelli Graphics held in 1995 at Brenau University. The estimate provided is based on comparables recently offered and sold at auction. The appraised work's size, composition, medium and condition (based on images provided), as well as the artist's current auction market were taken into consideration when determining the estimate.
