Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a Royal Albert Bone China England Cup and Saucer from the Flower of the Month series, decorated with the "Poppy" motif. Although the inscription reads that it is "hand painted", this is only true in parts. The black and white outlines were transfer printed, only the colour and the gloss gilding was applied by hand. The estimate is based on recent auction results. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to it.
