Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be a copy after a Roberto Hoesch print after the painting by Jean-Jacques Henner (15 March 1829 – 23 July 1905) "Saint Fabiola". Or it is a modern Giclee print on canvas. Either way, it is not the original and also much smaller than the original. This motif has been very popular and there are numerous copies and reproductions offered on a daily basis. There is no mention on the painting ("cop." or "after") that it is a copy, which could deceive a potential buyer. A correctly described copy would sell in the 100-200 USD range, A not genuine painting has by definition no market value. A very decorative piece for home decor nonetheless and it most likely represents a high sentimental value to you.
Thank you. Yes I knew it wasnt thd original painting I just wasnt aure if it was a painting or a print. Ty for your response, yes it hangs up on my wall as I find it and the history of Henner quite fasinating.
