Dear Jesus,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The presented object appears to be an etching on paper with measurements of 7 x6 inches. The etching depicts a head with demonic facial features. This is the print titled "Devil" from the suit with the title "Symbols" in the year 1970. It is signed on the plate and hand-signed in pencil by Salvador DALI (1904-1989) and this is one of the pieces which were printed before the edition of 150 prints starts. This is indicated by the word "Epreuvre d'Artist" and this means this is one of the first prints which were possessed by the artist personally.
Works by this artist were recently offered and sold on the international auction market.
This piece is in good condition and there is no serious damage visible in the images provided.
A fair market estimation would be between 3.000 to 6.000 USD.
This estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparable items. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and may vary.
An artwork of such high potential value requires further authentication research. This estimate is provided on the condition of authenticity.
With kind regards,
George
