Saumur Artillery “The Hygiene of the Horse” BAT.B. 141 F.Z. A.E.F. This is a leather book with 65 pages plus a few supplemental pages with extra drawings at the end. Looks to be hand typed. October 1918 is listed in lower right hand corner. Title page is ripped (lower portion missing) but all other pages are intact. Pages have yellowed with age.
Purchased from a Louisiana estate sale. Owner was originally from Canada.

Here field and later heavy artillery officers of the American Expeditionary Forces, A. E. F were trained. The booklet is a compilation of basic knowledge of the period. The estimate is based on similar booklets issued by or for this school currently available.
