Savonnerie carpets were originally invented in France but they are also produced in Spain among other countries. This might be on from STUYCK real fábrica de tapices, possibly dating to the 19th century. There is some age to it as the stains and discolorations tell. There is a huge price range, quite a few Savonnerie rugs sell for only a few hundred, some sell for thousands if in a reasonable condition.
