The appraised work appears to be an oil painting on canvas executed by Romanian artist Sandu Liberman (1923-1977). The painting depicts a half-length portrait of a nude female figure with long hair addressing the viewer directly with a sensuous gaze and is signed at lower right. Liberman exhibited his work throughout Bucharest beginning in 1946 and was awarded several medals in Romania. He traveled to Israel in 1962 and settled there, gaining commissions by the Israeli government for several official portraits.
