seated woman with a book
this print was in my parents attic since i was very l a little kid the size is 17 1/2 by 221/2. it was framed to preserve it . prior to framing the right side had been folded all these years. about 3 inches had been creased all the time i reminder it. it appears to be a study of or a copy of pablo picasso work titled " Seated woman with a book" from about 1937 the name on it it Pito. and the last name i cannot decipher. if you zoom the shaded area pablo picasso name can be seen

This appears to be a lithograph after a picasso motif, inscribed in german "nach Pablo Picasso" and signed in the print "Peter Schäfer" and dated "9.3.64". Unfortunately the artist is not listed. The name itself is quite common, but no other work by this artist surfaced at auctions. The estimate is based on similar lithographs by lesser known artists sold at auction. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the item.
