I was told that is was made out of Shillings. There is a photo of the lady who was the owner of the necklace and the note on the back of the pictures was dated 16/12 (don't know the rest)
Bought it on auction from a family member of the old lady. Her grand mother was the daughter of the old lady in the photo
Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. The necklace is in white metal composed by concatenated elements. The elements are spheres created in a metal thread alternating with lozenge-shaped elements. These are in filigree. In the photo is also visible a filigree pendant with a flower shape. The necklace seems to be hand made through the antique filigree technique, which is typical of the Italy and Portugal areas. Observing the picture the necklace could be of the late XIX century.
