Andrew Wyeth, a renowned American realist painter best known for his emotionally evocative works and mastery of watercolor and tempera. In "Horse Blanket," he depicted the Kuerner farm in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania. The name of the Percheron draft horse was “Dentzel.”
The original painting, executed in 1992, was done in watercolor but this is a lithograph print after that. While this might retail for several hundred or a few thousand dollars, when it comes to auction, it usually sells for between $200-300
