Inherited from relative who knew these two players
8-1/2x11 picture and a signed and framed 33RPM sports record of Mickey Mantle
Hi Elaine,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The RPM is somewhat widely available for sale online, in prices ranging from $15-50. Though Whitey and Mickey took (and signed) DOZENS if not HUNDREDS of photos, the significant majority of them are as baseball players and not as younger boys/young men. I can't zoom in close enough on the photo to certify this is both of them but if their identity could be firmly established and the provenance more clearly outlined, this would have a value of $800-1,200
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage 1962 Sports Champions Auravision 33 1/3 RPM record
"Mickey Mantle New York Yankees, The Mickey Mantle Story" issued by Columbia Records
approximately 7-1/2 by 7-1/2 inches, framed
CONDITION: framed
PROVENANCE: inherited
$20-30*
together with:
A vintage autographed photo of Mickey Mantle and Whitey Ford as young men
undated
signed in blue sharpie
8-1/2 by 11 inches
CONDITION: framed
PROVENANCE: inherited
$ 800-1,200**
*represents a fair-market value for auction purposes; retail or asking price may vary.
** provisional value subject to more research into provenance and authentication. For more information on the authentication process, https://mearto.com/authenticate

You can list these on the Mearto marketplace - I can see that this appraisal has a status of "public" but I can't see if you've marked it "for sale" (in which case if you have it's already listed and you might get offers directly) or not.
The RPM is of pretty modest value most auction houses probably wouldn't want to sell it BUT the signed photo will probably be of interest to any auction house that has a Sports Memorabilia dept, though they'll probably want a bit more info on the history of the photo, who owned it etc.
Let me know if you still have questions, concerns, etc...

Thank you for such a quick response. Do you have an idea where I could sell this?
Elaine
