An antique French chased and engraved sterling silver dollhouse dropleaf table
illegible marks, 19th Century
The rectangular pierced top with hinged pierced drop leaves raised on a chased frame on tapering legs joined by an X-stretcher. Marked illegibly underneath
2 3 1/2” tall, 3 3/4” long, 2” wide closed (5 1/2 wide open)
CONDITION: appears to be in good condition
PROVENANCE: acquired at auction

The marks are quite hard to read but they look French, which is consistent. Regrettably, the market for miniature silver furniture is quite soft at the moment. I've priced this in line with what other small silver tables are bringing at auction, with a modest improvement because of the craftsmanship and detailing of this example.

Hi Delia, thank you for your quick response. The box is approximately 2 3 1/2” tall x 3 3/4” long x 2” wide when closed. When fully open it’s 5 1/2” wide
I got it at a large auction of Russian military memorabilia, but I don’t think it’s Russian.
