Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
It is a wonderful place setting designed by Johan Rohde in 1915 for Georg Jensen silversmith in Copenhagen. It is called the Acorn pattern.
The condition of the silver looks good and it is a very good thing pricewise that the set has so many serving pieces as well as a complete set of at least 10 of each of the main pieces. The price may depend on the year the pieces were made, the earlier the better, but since it was a wedding gift in 1948 all the pieces are pre 1948 which is good for the value.
The estimate provided is for a well-advertised specialised Scandinavian silver auction, where I believe the place setting has the best chance of realising its fullest potential.
