Small wooden framed painting with wooden back as well .

Dear Jason Sperber,
Thank you for your appraisal submission. From the images provided, the work appears to be a 20th century hand-colored decoupage on painted board. It depicts two figures, possibly French and from a vintage fashion magazine. Both figures are wearing elaborate, lace trim clothing of their era. The work appears to be in fair condition with staining to the surface, and visible frame abrasions along the edges. It measures 6 x 7 inches in frame. The artist of this work remains unknown as the work is unsigned. The lack of a signature is not uncommon to decoupage work which was a hobbyist practice from the 18th to the 20th century.
The lack of an artistic attribution in this case should not have a significant effect on the work's overall value. In fact, decoupage are sought after for the medium more so than the marker on the secondary market. Decoupage works have a strong market presence, and can reach high values for their themes and quality. We estimate the Fair Market Value of this work between $200 and $500, likely towards the lower end of the spectrum given the work's size and simplistic composition.
As no close-up images of this work were provided, this appraisal is conditional based on the work's medium which may require in-person examination to confirm.
Kind regards,
Charlotte B.
