What does this mean?

Dear Sarah,

You have a pottery container made most likely in China but could also be Europe. Its not old probably around 1985/ 1990. It is printed and partly painted I believe but maybe its completely handpainted. hard to tell from picture's. Why do I say European; the form, the colour and the material is more like a European way of making. Again i'm not 100% sure since China also copied all including the classic way of decorating. These recent objects are not very sought after yet. The collectors market is mainly oriented on antique pieces.

Regards,

Simon Breider
