Glass. 4”high. 3” wide.
Was my Grandmothers
Dear Nancy,
Thank you for your request. This is an opal glass souvenir. As a decor, it has the lettering "Souvenir of Put-in-Bay" and a rose. The glass itself also has a glass cutting imitating decor in the lower part and at the bottom. The round edges of the facets are a hint that this piece was produced in pressed glass procedure. It was probably made around 1900 or at the beginning of the 20th century. There are no chips or other major damages visible. An estimation would be from 10 to 20 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
