A bottle of unopened alcohol manufactured during the Soviet Union, presumably Moldova. The label is free of cracks and peeling. The lid has never been opened. The label is written in Russian, and was sold at the time of manufacturing for 8 Soviet Ruples.

You are correct that this is Soviet Moldovian cognac; it was made by the state (Gosagroprom) sometime after 1985. While I've not found this exact bottle on sale (or having sold recently) at auction, bottles of comparable size and vintage bring about $50 at auction
