This window was salvaged from the Canadian Pacific Railway Station in New Westminster, BC, Canada mid century, when that station was torn down. So, it is probably from the mid 1800's. It is 31 inches square, made of lead and glass.
My grandfather salvaged it. It has been in the family for over 60 years.
Dear Nancy,
Thank you for your request. The presented object is a decorated glass window with the measurements of 31 inches square. The single glass components are connected in a lead glazing technique and decorated in a neo-gothic style. One leaf of the middle rosette is probably later restored or was damaged and repaired. This window was probably made in the second half of the 19th century.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 100 to 250 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
