This is a decorative copy after a dutch flower still life of the 18th century by an unknown chinese artist, most likely fromt the painting village Dafen in China. The modern frame has some imitated woodworm holes to give it the appearance of age. The signature "Stanton" is meant to mislead, this is a purely fictitious pseudonym of a very late 20th or early 21st century chinese painter. The painting has some decorative appeal and the frame was rather expensive. The estimate is based on similar paintings available from chinese painting factories and recent auction results.
