Stephen Sacklarian painting
oil (or acrylic) on canvas; 72" X 52"; framed. Pictures of front and rear tag attached.
I am a volunteer at a small private museum in Pittsburgh. This painting was donated some time in the 1970's ( I think) by a man in Washington D.C. I believe he bought it from the painter or a dealer representing the painter, as he was a collector of Sacklarian's work. Due to 2 changes in administration since then, all documentation of the donor and date has been lost.

The presented object appears to be a painting made in acrylic paint on canvas with the measurements of 72" x 52". the painting depicts an abstract motif and was made by the artist Stephen SACKLARIAN (1899-1983).
Artworks of this artist were mainly recently offered and sold on the auction market of the United States.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 400 to 600 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.

Is this for sale? Where?
I thought I had asked for this item to be advertised to various auction houses. In another submission concerning a greek(?) amphora I also wanted it advertised. To date I have not been contacted by you or anyone else. Did I miss a step? Was it advertised? I am interested in disposing of these items as soon as possible. RSVP.
