This item was made by Lisham Art Studio Ltd. of Israel. It is stamped Lisham and 925. I’ve been unable to source any information on this item. I have found many other pieces made by Lisham that are usually small Sterling figurines which sell for good prices. However I have not found any items comparable to this Jewelry Box or any as large as this. I would like to know if this box is Solid Sterling Silver as it is very heavy weighing in at 647 Grams. After researching the Web I don’t think this company is still in business.

Also the Mearto site Cropped the pictures I submitted. I have pics that show All of the Box if you need them. Thanks !
Sorry I’m an idiot, the pics on the site are good.
Hello, I have Still not received the Appraisal I paid for. I provided all information requested. Please give me an update on the status. Thanks !
Hi David - my deepest apologies - I emailed my colleague back in mid May and followed up over the weekend. I'll circle back today to double check and will move forward if they don't have any additional information - this will be finished by the end of the week (Friday).
Apologies again!
Delia
My colleague couldn't find anything out about Lisham Art despite having deep connections in the antique and vintage Judaica silver community. The value is based on comparable sales of other sterling and mixed media boxes of comparable size and shape.
Hello, the Company name is ”Lisham” based in Israel. I’ve found no markings on the bottom half of the box. I peeled back the red velvet and it appears Top and Bottom are a Stone with the Silver covering, so I’m sure now most of the weight is the internal stone base. Yes please confer with whomever you like. I’m in No rush. I’ll probably list this on eBay as now I see it has disappointing amount of actual Sterling. Thank you for your time ! David
