Hi Jessica,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Casa Mackenzie dealt in mid 20th Century imported table wares, from the 1950s to 1990s. Like many of the pieces they handled, this is silverplate rather than sterling. It's been tarnished fairly extensively and, from the pierced edges, appears to be a charger (also known as a service plate or underplate), which is a large, decorative plate typically used in formal dining settings. It would have stayed on the table while other plates and/or bowls are rotated during the various courses; it kept hot courses hot.
Because these are silver plate and not sterling, they have a very nominal value at auction - other examples have recently sold for between $30 and $50 (note that retailers will be asking a higher price for ones they are selling.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A vintage Casa Mackenzie silverplated charger
mid-late 20th Century
