Possibly Indian, possibly 18th Century or older
The long stone carved with a snake at one end and a seated frog at the other. Unsigned
4-1/2 inches high, 10 inches long, 2 inches deep
CONDITION: This appears to be in good condition with some weathering
PROVENANCE: Inherited

This is similar to a body of stone sculptures of animals carved from the 16th Century in India, though this doesn't appear to be quite that old.
It may also be contemporary...a lack of history and inscriptions make it very difficult to precisely identify when and where this was made but I've been as complete as possible, with the information provided.
