Abstract art with elements of graphic details. Its oil on canvas. The artist is Christine Ay Tjoe.She is now internationally known having exibitions in New York, Paris, China ,HongKong, Singapore and Jakarta. The painting is difficult to interprete,but lots of red and black colors being used . Outwardly it Looks like its about a lake full of water plants with birds perching on top. All in thick red and black.Maybe Christine is trying to say the world environment is at its worse condition eco wise, and going down further. She knows the real intention and idea behind the painting,i am sure. The painting is done in 2006 wih her signature is on bottom right. It measures 75cmx45cm, and the canvas and paint is good, it is without frame.

The previous owner was Ibu Susan a close friend of the painter, I bought this painting and another one also by the same painter thru an artist friend Mr Herru who happens to know Ibu Susan. The purchase was only made early this year.The painting is kept in Jakarta.
