“Strolling Along” Hummel Figurine
My grandmother collected hummels from around 1950s-1990s, she had family in Germany in WWII, so some of them came from there. We have about a hundred. This little guy is in mint condition. It is a boy wearing a green coat carrying a red umbrella with his little red dog walking beside him. The marking on the bottom is a full bee slightly above the V. The number is 5-2 and it says Germany.
He is about 5 inches tall and 3 inches long. It is about 1 1/2 inches wide.
I inherited these from my grandmother, she collected from the 1950s-1990s.

Considering the photographs, overall pattern, porcelain quality and the colours, I concluded that this is an Entirely Hand Painted Goebel and Hummel Porcelain Bisquit Figurine. The piece dates back to the period form 1950 to 1955. The piece depicts a younf boy and his dog walking with an umbrella on the boy's shoulder. These were imitations of the idealised life back in the early 20th century. The boy was depicted wearing a blue coat and a black hat slightly worn to the side. The piece has a serial number of "52" at the bottom and it has a "Germany" mark. The piece's mark also dates back to the suggested period with a larger bee and a full "V". The piece is without glaze as usual to hummel pieces, painted on the bisquit surface. The piece is commonly named as "Strolling Along" in the market. Hummel figurines can be considered as very collectable and decorative. The piece appears to be in good condition with small signes of age.
