Swiss 1889/96 rifle manufactured at WF Bern. The bolt has serial number 5, the trigger guard, barrel band, nose cap, magazine, are serial number 6, the rear sight base has the serial number 7 and the inside of both pieces of the stock are a hand written serial number 66. The barrel is an H&H in the white. Condition is good overall. I believe this is the only known 1889/96 trials rifle in existence, that would make it the oldest modern actioned Swiss rifle.
