Similar wall hangings are also being produced by a small number of belgian manufacturers, but without a label they are hard to identify. The wall tapestry in your possession depicts an oriental market in north africa or another part of the former ottoman empire. Oriental motifs were very popular in the 19th century and well into the 20th century. The general taste has shifted and the demand for wall hangings is pretty low at the moment. The estimate is based on similar wall hangings offered or sold at auction and condition, which in this case is pretty good and not faded.
