This wood table has herringbone detail and interesting legs. It measures 21 and 1/4 deep by 21 and 1/4 wide. It is 15 and 3/4 inches tall. The finish is compromised, but there is no damage to the surface in the way of scratches or serious damage. It is in need of a bit of restoration if value merits.
This table came from a vintage store. No other information.
Hi Rhonda,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
I can't tell how "compromised" the surface is from the photos but it has a very nice antique look. I would keep "as is" if you are planning to sell it; a new finish may raise a red flag among potential buyers and I would recommend letting the new owners decide if they want to refinish it.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
A Regence style oak occasional table
In the French taste, circa 1900
The square top with inset herringbone-parquetry panel over a shaped apron raised on squared cabriole legs.
