Antique Fisher sterling silver coffee & tea set with (1) coffee pot, (1) tea pot, (1) covered sugar, (1) creamer , and (1) waste bowl. The set is solid sterling with a total (all 5 pieces) weight of approx. 99 American ounces. The set is in very good condition - needs to be polished.
This set was owned by a residential home builder in Hollywood, California. He and his wife built many of the movie and TV stars homes in the 1940's - 1960's.

A lovely set, the most valuable group of silver you've submitted for appraisal. If you sell this at auction, most auction houses will calculate the low estimate based on the melt value of the weight (measured to the TROY OUNCE, which is .911458 of an ounce; if you weighed this in ounces, the set weighs about 90 troy ounces). Today's price for sterling is not quite $23/troy ounce, which brings a melt weight for this to about $2,000.
