Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be an older handwoven cotton fabric with a repetitive natural dye handprinted design, using bird, flower and elephant motifs. Such sarong type fabrics are being produced using a block printing technique called Kalamkari or qalamkari. Traditionally such fabrics were exported from the Coromandel Coast all over Asia. These older fabrics are collectible, and once put in a frame for display they usually double the value paid at auction.
