This Vintage J. Peterman Company Messenger Bag is made of a really strong fabric with leather in some parts too. It has many compartments and the bag has a locking mechanism to keep whatever is inside safe (key included). There are two marks on the inside of the bag and some discoloration under the outside flap that you can’t notice when the flap is down (I think it’s supposed to have that discoloration but not 100% sure). Other than that it is in excellent condition and I couldn’t find any other J Peterman bag like this one online! It is 18.5”x10.5”x9.5”

Hi Nick,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
The bag has faded - that's why it's darker under the flap. The stain to the interior does affect the value a bit; the fading a little less so.
