Excellent condition.. Never hung. Part of Inheritance.
Dear Armando Cappuccitti,
Thank you for your appraisal submission, and apologies for the delayed response. Your work is a metal relief cast after Leonardo Da Vinci's (Italian, 1452-1519) "The Last Supper." It is parcel gilded, and marked "Cenacolo" (The Last Supper) to the lower edge. From the images provided, the work is in good condition with no visual issues to note. The work was created in the last 20th century/21st century, likely as a tourism piece in Italy. The dimensions of the work were not provided.
We were unable to trace the "ITA - International Trade of Arts" mark to the verso of the frame. However, our research found many other versions of metal "Last Supper" reliefs such as this one. The piece is not an officially certified or authentic work of Da Vinci's oeuvre. A 2024 metal relief of "The Last Supper" passed unsold at auction. In 2023, a silver plated relief of "The Last Supper" sold for $65. Other examples of various sizes and mediums have all sold around the $50. In comparison to these sales records, we estimate the Fair Market Value of this work between $0 and $200.
Thank you again for your submission.
Kind regards,
Charlotte B.
