A restrike print of the three trees by Rembrandt, that is an etching, engraving and drypoint dating to circa 1643. The piece is signed in the plate and dated in the plate as well as marked in pencil on the margin of the paper. The piece is in very good condition.

This is a later impression using a printing plate of etching by Rembrandt van Rijn (1606-1669) of his 1643 print known as Three Trees. This particular print is done on wove paper, which did not exist at the time of the artist. It has been annotated in pencil with the title, artists name and year in pencil in the margin; however this was not signed in pencil by the artist himself and this could potentially be misleading to a collector in the future. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
