24" R floral lampshade of glass and lead. The top piece is soldered to the leaded glass shade. No broken or missing pieces of glass. mostly made of various shades of Milkglass - loos to be of early 1900's glass vintage. This lamp came from an early 1900's home remodel project. Owners were looking to flip the home and felt this shade was "too old looking" to be of value for any resale buyer. I acquired it rather than knowing it was headed to the local refuse depot.

Hi Daniel,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Tiffany Studios lamps, crafted by Louis Comfort Tiffany in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, are renowned for their exquisite artistry and innovative use of stained glass. Featuring intricate designs inspired by nature, such as floral motifs and dragonflies, these lamps exemplify the Art Nouveau style. Each piece is unique, meticulously handcrafted, and often highly valued by collectors. Tiffany Studios' distinctive approach transformed ordinary lighting into luminous works of art.
The company was so influential that many companies copied their designs and there are a lot of early "knockoffs" on the market that may be nearly as beautiful but not nearly as valuable as an original Tiffany shade, which are marked, usually on both the outer rim and also the brass collar at the top of the shade.
I am very familiar with both Tiffany originals and reproductions and suspect this is a reproduction rather than an original.
