Hi Raymond,
Thank you for contacting Mearto with your appraisal inquiry.
Based on the photos and information provided, and subject to examination, this is:
An antique Tiffany style leaded stained glass and bronze table lamp
20th Century
The turtleback tile shade with stylized floral banding, raised on a naturalistically cast bronze base. Unmarked.
23 inches overall height; height of shade 7 inches, diameter of shade 20 inches
CONDITION: This lamp appears to be in generally good overall as-found condition. The quality of the casting of the bronze base is better than the quality of the shade, suggesting the shade may be a replacement.
PROVENANCE: inherited
$ 700-1000*

All Tiffany products were marked in some way or another. The Tiffany company was SO influential that it inspired numerous knockoffs and I think your lamp base may be one such example. The shade is a fairly ordinary shade that has a value of about $100-200 but the base - even without it being made by Tiffany - is worth more - $600-800 on its own. The value of $700-1,000 is for the shade and base if sold together.
I find no markings on the lamp or on the shade. Could markings be there and I just can't see them? Are there any Tiffany lamps that do not have markings?
I'm pretty sure this is a Tiffany because my grandmother told me it was. She was well to do and certainly had a house full of beautiful artwork.
