I have handled Pre-Columbian objects for 20+ years and this is unlike any iconography used throughout Latin, Central and South America. I'm highly suspicious of this being Pre-Columbian as it looks quite a lot like a Martian in a UFO, which were popular in the 1950s and 60s and would acquire an antique patina if it had been buried (accidentally or on purpose) for a few decades. Of circular section, featuring an elongated head with almond-shaped eyes and pronounced nose and mouth protruding from an elliptical disk with circular details along the shoulder and pierced elements along the base. Unsigned.
3-1/2 inches tall; 3 inches diameter
CONDITION: This piece has an encrusted patina as if it had been buried.
