The rug has a tree of life motif. Animals include lions, monkeys, deer, and birds. The tree has many blossoms. Predominant colors are red, blue, green, and tan. It has about 300 knots per square inch. The rug is quite worn: Its fringe is missing; corners and edges are frayed; there are small holes and surface wear; the dimensions are uneven from warping & wear; it has uneven colors. Some small holes may have been patched. An Antiques Roadshow evaluator (Honolulu, 2007) suggested it may have been made in the late 19th century for home use rather than trade.
Approximately 74.25 by 51.25 inches (averaged, as the dimensions are uneven)
