Thank you for submitting your item for appraisal. This appears to be german Fasching or Fasnet mask or "larve". Every region and every village in Germany´s souther regions developped special features for Carnival masks. Best known are those from Rottweiler Narrensprung or the Schuttig to name a few. The mask in your possession is handcarved and painted with natural colour pigments, has good patina from wear. Production date possibly late 19th century, most likely made in Franconia by a local carver. The estimate is based on similar mask sold at auction. There is no measurement for the sentimental value you might attach to the item.
